Most working holiday makers need a car for farm work, a job across town or a road trip. Buying one means a big payment up front, rego, repairs and selling it before you leave. Renting by the week from QuickVan avoids all of that: pick up in Albion, return it when your plans change.

Can I drive on my overseas licence?
Yes. Queensland lets visitors drive on a valid overseas licence, and temporary visas such as working holiday visas are not caught by the 3-month rule that applies to permanent residents. If your licence is not in English, carry an International Driving Permit or an official English translation. We ask for at least 12 months of driving experience; learner and provisional licences are not accepted.
What to bring to the depot
- Your driver licence (plus IDP or translation if it is not in English)
- Passport
- Proof of your address in Australia (a bank letter, lease or bill)
- A card for the $500 bond
You can upload your documents online after booking so pickup is quicker.
